Setting a Course For Adventure
Some kids avoid obstacles. Scouts overcome them.
Scouts BSA is a year-round program for boys and girls in fifth grade through high school that provides fun, adventure, learning, challenge, and responsibility to help them become the best version of themselves.
In Scouts BSA, young men and women go places, test themselves, and have one-of-a-kind adventures that can’t be found anywhere else.
Scouts BSA is designed to be experienced outdoors but also has a STEM component. While hiking, camping, mountain biking, and whitewater rafting are all offered and bring Scouts into the great outdoors, young men and women with drive for science will learn to develop and hone those skills as well.

Your generous donation helps our Troops provide quality, appropriate gear allowing us to provide the best Scouting experience.
Volunteer
Troop 5 & 70 are totally dependent on volunteers to make Scouting happen. Scouting America, and LaSalle Council as well as the Troops provide training for each leader so that they are trained and equipped to provide a safe, fun, and engaging Scouting experience for every Scout.
Join
Our Scouts range from those that have never camped or been part of a youth organization to experienced campers looking to develop their leadership skills. Every youth no matter their experience level has a place and position in the Troop.
