Missed the 2025 Join Night and the 2025 Parent Orientation? Don’t worry your scouting adventure can still begin. We have youth joining Troop 5 or Troop 70 through out the year. We understand that often fall can be a busy time, or maybe it’s basketball season that’s really busy for you. Unlike most sports, Scouts meet through out the year (this is why our low registration cost is such a great deal). What this means if that when you are busy you can take a break, and when you are ready, jump back in. A great example of a youth committed to a sport but also achieving the highest rank in Scouts BSA is David Montgomery, NFL player and Scouting America Brand Ambassador currently playing for the Detroit Lions.
Perhaps, you have been reluctant to come to a meeting because it seems like a big commitment. Our meetings are on Monday evenings at 7pm at Goshen First Church in Goshen, Indiana. We would be happy to host you and your youth so that each of you can experience our Troops and answer any questions you might have. If your youth would also like to go on a campout with us before you fully commit, that could be an option too. If you don’t know what to bring let us know, the Troop has packing lists available and gear that you can borrow. We want to make this as easy a decision as possible!
